Anne-Marie Duff, an English actress, who also writes stories is a very talented person. Her first TV appearances were during the latter part of 1990, after she was a graduate of Drama Centre London. Anne-Marie Duff, a British actress, was born in Chiswick on the 8th of October, 1970. Anne-Marie Duff (born 8 October 1970) is an English screen and stage actress. Her first fame was for her role as Fiona Gallagher during the UK's Shameless series. The Virgin Queen (2006) was her next character. The actress also appeared as the role of Queen Elizabeth I and the lead character on From Darkness, a television series that aired in 2015. Duff was in roles like Enigma 2001 The Magdalene Sisters French Film 2008 The Last Station Nowhere Boy Before I go to sleep (2015) and Suffragette. She also appeared in the films The Virgin Queen Shameless Nowhere Boy Suffragette Shameless as well as The Virgin Queen earned her BAFTA nominations for Best Actresses as well as Best Supporting actresses. The History of Mr Polly was the movie in which she was awarded her BAFTA Cymru Award as Best Actress. Anne-Marie Duff, an award-winning English actor who thrives in the showbiz has made her mark performing in radio and theatre productions with talent. Her fame was largely attributed to her character Fiona Gallagher from the British drama-comedy TV series Shameless. Anne-Marie has an extensive career of stage performances and has worked extensively with The Royal National Theatre.
